This was my 1st time here and it was the BEST hair treatment I ever had. From the moment I walked in the pampering began. I was greeted by Ethan, my stylist and he explained the service I booked. Along with my service he gave me a complementary neck and shoulder massage. Every detail was well thought about- warm neck towels, eye cream, amazing head massage when being shampooed and the blow out was amazing. Sue Spinney29 days agoI recently tried Ethan, a young Aveda-trained stylist, after reading a review that said he was especially good with thin, fine hair—and he absolutely did not disappoint! He gave me a great cut at a very reasonable price, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The salon is comfortable, the owner was warm and welcoming, and even checked out my cut afterward, which gave me every confidence that Ethan had done a great job. And beyond his talent, Ethan is just a genuinely sweet guy. Add convenient parking and an easy-to-get-to location, and I’ve found my new stylist. The other aveda salons near me did not have good reviews so I was excited when I read theirs. They did not disappoint. I got a full color, cut and style with Ethan. She really listens and makes sure she knows what you’re trying to achieve. She’s a very talented artist! She has learned my hair and it appears she nailed it on this last cut! I always need to blow it dry myself before I can tell if this is what I’m looking for because it always looks nice when I leave the salon. I had my third cut yesterday. Ethan, my stylist, spent time understanding my concerns and we discussed a few ways to address them. In the end, I was 100% pleased with the results. Annmarie Vitale198 days agoIf you’re not visiting Dominique at Amore, then honestly you’re making a big hair mistake. Dom has been my sole hair stylist for about 3 years now and she continues to just blow me away with not only her skill and technique with hair, but just the love and care she truly puts into her craft. You’re not a dollar sign in her chair, you’re a person maybe just looking for a basic haircut or even a drastic change and Dom is ready to make your dreams come true but will also be honest if it’s possible or maybe something that should be avoided. She’s always upfront but alwayyysss makes me feel beautiful in the end. I literally drive 2 hours to see her, yes 2, and I will every time. Nobody else will ever touch my hair but her. Jami is owner is just as wonderful and puts all the effort to make you feel just as special. The time she has put to the little details within the shop plus just what is offered during your cut is worth every penny. That’s why I make the long trip all the way from Ohio to Saint Petersburg just to see her at AMORE Salon Aveda. My 1st haircut at her new salon absolutely exceeded my expectations. Jami delivered a precise, perfectly tailored cut and style that looks incredible. But what really sets this place apart is the luxurious, relaxing experience. This most recent visit I was feeling too blonde. Beautiful color (as always) but I was feeling lost. No One You Know245 days agoI’ve been seeing Alex for almost 15 years, which should tell you everything. I don’t stay loyal to people, restaurants, or skincare products unless they’re exceptional. Alex is exceptional. Amore Hair Salon is beautiful, welcoming, and has the kind of calm energy that immediately tells you your hair is about to be taken very seriously. The staff is wonderful, the vibe is perfect, and every visit feels like a reset. Alex is magic. She listens, she gets it right the first time, and she somehow knows what I want even when I don’t. In nearly 15 years, she has never let me walk out looking questionable, which is honestly impressive. My hair always looks better than I expected, and I always leave feeling confident and happy. If you want a stylist you can trust long-term, through bad ideas, big changes, and everything in between, Alex is the one. I have been with Jami for almost 10 years and she has made my hair not just a dream, but the talk of my friends asking who does it because it is so healthy! I sadly visited another well known Tampa Bay Aveda while Amore was being born and they destroyed my beautiful blonde hair. Just two visits back to Amore with Jami and it is back to being perfect again! The color is amazing, the softness, the style, no frizz, no broken ends! The salon is beautiful, calming, open and bright but the kicker to the amazing experience is the hand massage and the relaxing lavender eye mask at the shower bowl! The overall experience was far better than anything I have ever had. Starting with a scalp massage using essential oils, an eye pillow and neck warmer while getting my hair washed. Pure heaven. She listened to what I wanted for my style and encouraged me to share pictures with her. Her attention to detail is fabulous! The salon is beautiful and the chairs are ao comfy. My blonde has dimension, brightness, and softness - exactly what I wanted. And the relaxing rituals during the service is truly the cherry on top! My cut and color were perfect, and you can tell she has many years of experience—she’s incredibly skilled and very professional. The salon itself is beautiful, inviting, and relaxing, with great music and a peaceful atmosphere. They take you on time and clearly explain the cost of your service upfront. Then the magic happens! The space owner, Jami, created is gorgeous, relaxing, and full of great energy. Alex continues to do a fabulous job, and I’m so happy to support her in this new chapter. Nichole Dunbar295 days agoI had an amazing experience at Amore Aveda salon! Jami was my stylist and she did both my cut and color — and absolutely nailed it. I was a little nervous about trying a new style, but she was so warm, professional, and easy to talk to that I felt comfortable right away. She walked me through every step, listened to what I wanted, and gave me a look that I’m genuinely obsessed with. My hair has never felt or looked better.
